Jammin Java Welcomes the Risky Beavers for a Special Performance
On October 4, Jammin Java will host the debut performance of Brian Fechino & the Risky Beavers, a band rooted in the Pat McGee Band, known for their improvisational and adventurous style. Opening the evening will be singer-songwriter Meaghan Farrell and bassist Patrick ?Hammer? Thornton, who is a key member of the Beavers' rhythm section.
This show is significant for Fechino, as it represents the group's first club performance outside of festivals and special events, marking a new chapter for the band. The Risky Beavers are a collaborative ensemble, blending various musical influences, including country, blues, and jazz, with an emphasis on instrumental expression over vocals.
The band emerged from years of collaboration at charity festivals, adopting their quirky name during a lighthearted moment. Fechino emphasizes the joy of making music together and aims to create unique experiences through improvisation. This performance also serves as a celebration of their recent album, highlighting their desire to expand their presence in the live music scene.
